About us
Blooming Education Center is an innovative –project based learning program. We proudly support those in the homeschool community and those who desire to homeschool. In our microschool environment, we strive to provide supplemental learning activities for homeschool families and those who are transitioning into, or who may be interested in the wonderful world of homeschooling. We offer parents a supplemental option for learning and are an extension to your at home education. Our primary focus is to be a safe space for homeschoolers. Where children can gain social interaction, build friendships, and learn to work collaboratively with others within a small controlled environment. Our activities are centered on biblical principles that are designed to support young learners in grades K-8. Our main focus is to provide a safe space for homeschool kids to develop friendships and participate in structured learning, It is our belief that we are better together! We strive to personalize each learning experience while focusing on the unique strengths every child brings to the world. Our approach fosters creativity and curiosity in every child. We balance fun along with creative learning centered around a single subject. Our goal is to meet the students where they are and foster an environment to help them grow confidently as they learn about themselves and the world around them. With this goal in mind we have structured our program like a “one-room” style learning environment. We encourage all families to be a part of our growing program as we grow.

Get to Know Us
Our homeschoolers start with sharing our victory plan for the day. From the youngest to oldest we all have a daily goal(s). Next, we dive into our DRIVING QUESTION, this will lead our project based learning activity for the week. The driving question presents our learners with a problem they are tasked with solving, just like science explorers or detectives on a search. Or gives them what they need to collectively think about as they now prepare for their group project. Kids are then guided through researching, discussing and preparing a physical product to present what they have learned.
This is the FUN part! Not only are the children actively learning, one from another, they are engaging, using critical thinking skills, working collectively as a team and sharing ideas! This is how you learn! in the best way possible!
After collecting all the information, they must decide how to present to their class what they learned. Students are encouraged to be creative here. Some may choose to use a display board, others may choose to create a slideshow using Canva, others may do a video creation displaying their findings, the possibilities are endless!!
